TK Paints Red Oxide Primer
TK Paints Red Oxide Primer is designed for use as an undercoat on properly prepared iron and steel surfaces. It creates a uniform base for synthetic enamel topcoats and helps achieve better adhesion and a smooth, durable finish.

Surface Preparation
Remove dust, dirt, grease, loose paint, rust and other surface contaminants. Sand the surface thoroughly using 180-grade emery paper and wipe it clean before application.
Application Instructions
Stir the primer thoroughly before use.
Apply one uniform coat of TK Paints Red Oxide Primer.
Allow the primer to dry for 2–3 hours.
Fill dents and surface imperfections with thin coats of suitable putty.
Allow the putty to dry for 6–8 hours.
Sand the surface again using 180-grade emery paper and wipe it clean.
For the finishing coat, thin one litre of Thirukumaran Paints Synthetic Enamel with 50–100 ml of mineral turpentine oil.
Apply two coats of synthetic enamel, maintaining an interval of approximately 8 hours between successive coats.
Safety and Storage
Use in a well-ventilated area. Wear suitable gloves, protective clothing and eye protection during application. Keep the product away from heat, sparks and open flames. Store the container tightly closed in a cool, dry place and keep it out of reach of children.
Important Note
Drying time may vary depending on temperature, humidity, surface condition and method of application. Follow the instructions printed on the product container and use only the recommended thinner.
Directions for Use:
Sand the surface with 180-grade emery paper and wipe it clean.
Apply the first coat of primer. Choose the appropriate primer depending on the application surface.
Allow the primer to dry for 2–3 hours.
Smoothen the surface by filling dents with thin coats of putty. Allow it to dry for 6–8 hours.
Sand the surface again with 180-grade emery paper and wipe it clean.
Thin one litre of Thirukumaran Paints Synthetic Enamel with 50–100 ml of mineral turpentine oil.
Apply two coats of paint, allowing an interval of 8 hours between successive coats.
