This policy applies to retail purchases made directly through the Thirumurugan Paints Private Limited WooCommerce website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Franchisee, dealership, institutional, government, GeM, wholesale and separately quoted orders may be governed by the terms mentioned in the applicable quotation, purchase order, agreement or invoice, subject to applicable law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Order Cancellation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
An order may be cancelled without charge before it is packed or dispatched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible. The customer may request a return after delivery if the product is eligible under this policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If Thirumurugan Paints cancels an order due to stock unavailability, delivery restrictions, payment failure or any other operational reason, the full amount received will be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Products Eligible for Return<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
A return, replacement or refund may be requested when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The product received is different from the product ordered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The pack size, quantity, shade code or product type supplied is incorrect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The product is damaged, leaking, tampered with or unusable upon delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The product has a manufacturing defect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The product is expired at the time of delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Parts of a multi-component product, such as base and hardener, are missing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The product does not correspond with the description or specifications displayed on the website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Delivery is unreasonably delayed beyond the stated schedule, except where the delay resulted from force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
For transit damage, leakage, shortage or wrong delivery, customers should preferably notify us within 48 hours of delivery<\/strong>. Other eligible return requests should be raised within 7 calendar days of delivery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These reporting periods do not restrict any statutory consumer rights available under applicable law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Change-of-Mind Returns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Standard, non-customised products may be considered for return within 7 calendar days of delivery when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The container remains unopened and factory-sealed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The product has not been used, mixed, diluted or altered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The label, batch number and original packaging remain intact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The product is in a resaleable condition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Change-of-mind returns require prior approval. The customer will bear the return transportation cost, and the original delivery charge will not normally be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Non-Returnable Products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Except where the product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by law, returns will not be accepted for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Custom-tinted or machine-tinted paints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Special shades manufactured or mixed against a customer request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Colour-matched, made-to-order or customised products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Opened, partially used, mixed or diluted paint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Products mixed with thinners, hardeners, catalysts, colourants or other materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Products damaged due to incorrect storage, handling or application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Products stored beyond the recommended conditions or shelf-life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Products purchased under clearance, liquidation or expressly marked \u201cnon-returnable\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Products without sufficient proof of purchase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
6. Shade and Colour Variations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Colours displayed on mobile phones, computers and printed materials may vary because of screen settings, lighting, surface condition, texture, gloss level and application method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minor visual variation between an on-screen colour and the applied paint will not by itself qualify as a defect. However, a wrong product, wrong shade code, manufacturing error or material deviation will be investigated and may qualify for replacement or refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customers are advised to verify the shade code and, where appropriate, test a small area before completing the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. How to Request a Return or Refund<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do not dispose of or return the product until instructions are provided. We may arrange collection, request the customer to send the product to an authorised location or ask for a reasonable sample for technical examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8. Inspection and Approval<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Returned products may be inspected by our customer support, quality-control or technical team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where necessary, the investigation may consider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Replacement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
When a replacement is approved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The replacement will normally be dispatched without additional product or delivery charges for defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Replacement is subject to product availability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
If replacement is unavailable or unsuitable, the customer may choose an applicable refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
10. Refunds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
After a refund is approved, Thirumurugan Paints will initiate it within 5\u20137 business days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Refunds will normally be made through the original payment method. The customer\u2019s bank, card issuer, UPI provider or payment gateway may require additional time to credit the amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For Cash-on-Delivery orders, an approved refund may be issued through bank transfer or UPI after verification of the customer\u2019s payment and account details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Refunds will be calculated as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defective, damaged, wrong or misdescribed product:<\/strong> Product price and applicable standard delivery charges will be refunded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Approved change-of-mind return:<\/strong> The amount paid for the returned product will be refunded after inspection. Original and return delivery charges may be deducted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Partial return:<\/strong> Only the amount paid for the accepted returned item will be refunded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Discounted order:<\/strong> Refund will be based on the actual amount paid after discounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Cancelled prepaid order before dispatch:<\/strong> Full amount paid will be refunded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
No refund will be issued for products found to have been used, contaminated, improperly stored, incorrectly mixed or damaged after delivery, unless an underlying product defect is established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
11. Failed or Undeliverable Deliveries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, repeated refusal, inaccessible location or other customer-related reason, the actual forward and return transportation charges may be deducted from the refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This deduction will not apply where delivery failed because of an error by Thirumurugan Paints or its delivery partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
12. Return Transportation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For an approved claim involving a defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied product, Thirumurugan Paints will arrange or reimburse reasonable return transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customers should not send paint or solvent-based products through an unauthorised courier. Certain products may be classified as restricted or hazardous for transportation and must be handled according to the instructions provided by us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
