TK Paints Synthetic Enamel Yellow Oxide Primer is designed to protect properly prepared iron and steel and provide an effective foundation for synthetic enamel finishes. Its yellow oxide pigmentation supports a durable, well-adhered coating system.

Recommended Uses

Application Guidance

1. Prepare the surface: Remove rust, mill scale, grease, oil, dust and loose paint. Sand and wipe clean.
2. Apply the primer: Stir thoroughly and apply one uniform coat by brush or suitable spray equipment.
3. Allow to dry: Allow approximately 2–3 hours under normal conditions.
4. Correct imperfections: Where required, fill dents with suitable putty, allow 6–8 hours to dry, sand with 180-grade emery paper and wipe clean.
5. Finish the system: Apply two coats of TK Paints Synthetic Enamel, allowing approximately 8 hours between coats. Follow the container directions.

Use in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep the container tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
